  I checked on our Tizen 2.2 device and this Spriter demo works fine. So yes, I think it will be supported just fine.

  XML parsing is a standardised feature so I'd expect Spriter to work fine on all platforms based on real browsers. It's only CocoonJS that lacks XML parsing, and I believe Spriter's plans for an alternative JSON format are solely to address CocoonJS.

  We'll avoid the version of node-webkit that is based on Chromium 30 to try to avoid this affecting it. If we just skip over to Chromium 31 hopefully it will be OK.

  Actually, I can confirm: Chrome 30 drops most games to 30 FPS instead of 60 FPS. The workaround in that thread is to disable GPU compositing. Firefox and IE are fine still at 60 FPS, so it's definitely a Chrome issue. Perhaps your system restore put you back on Chrome 29.

  Does it crash selecting 'File - New' or 'File - Open' or just right away on startup before any UI even appears? That case has always been the graphics card driver crashing in the past.

  I haven't heard of any other reports from other users so far, so it could be a problem with just your system... I've got Windows 8.1 in the office and it runs C2 just fine.

  Which browsers have you tested?

  V-syncing can make framerate jumps bigger than they actually are - at 60.1 FPS, it will successfully V-sync at 60 FPS, but at 59.9 FPS, it will keep missing a V-sync interval and can often jump right down to 30 FPS. The actual frame processing time only changed by 0.2 FPS though. So it could be a very small change. It's important to at least test Chrome, Firefox and IE though, to verify whether it's just one browser or consistent.

  Well, if the problem is with Steam, then telling us so we can tell Valve who then make a suggestion which we then pass back on to you (and then back and forth similarly), is just inefficient. If you go directly to Valve, it should be quicker to resolve.

  If we simply remove it, some games will start scrolling the page around when you use the mouse wheel, which will make them unplayable. Perhaps post a bug report with a minimal .capx repro and I'll see if I can tweak it until it works.

  Why not implement your own system using the 'set animation frame' action?
