Heh in true loki style
I love it. I like the rain droplets how they smash up when they hit stuff... and the cloud loks so cool. I love how you mix retro graphics with a new-age style to the animation and effects. The lighting is also very cool but something as simple as the rain was more impressive to me.
Nice work man, can't wait to see more.
Also, this game must be impossible, like all your other ones xD

My Mind = Blown
Yet again... well done, that was the last of my brains. Good day to you.
lol it worked xD
Where did he go?
Let us summon him...
UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT, RIGHT, B, A, B, A, START!
PS I AM A GOAT FARMER I HAVE FRESH GOATS FOR SALE
Well for some reason my comment I posted decided it didn't want to post and I never got the validation email.... I tried honestly... D:
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
The best thing that you, or any of us can do, is give the guy loads of *****
I'm going there now to post comments about how he stole the game.
Cheerio!
Looks awesome as hell Digital... the effects are amazing. Hope the multiplayer plugin comes out soon and you can make some killer cooperative gameplay.
Can't wait to see it once you start adding backgrounds and levels etc.
Still waiting on a stable release where physics things aren't broken or acting weird.
I could continue it using 0.98 but it would involve a lot of workarounds that I don't particularly want to have to do since the newer versions have what I need... just some things aren't working right still
Hopefully next build will hit the nail on the head and I can push on for the well overdue update to this.
Also, I will most certainly use the tunes you have been working on. How goes them by the way? I don't think I got any more updates from you in regards to the fine tuning you were working on. I'm not in a rush mind you since, as I said I'm at a bit of a stalemate with production right now.
Hehehehe nice videos man, very creative! I can't believe I haven't seen them until now. I used to love making stop motion stuff... it would be fun to get back into it.
Keep 'em coming!
Oh wow, it resembles choplifter a lot! I didn't even know the game existed .
That was my favourite game on the C64
And yeah, it is a tad hard to control, it took me an hour or so before I could really start to fly around without crashing.
I think it would be a lot easier with 360 controller support though, using the trigger as thrust etc. and the stick to hover around.
I guess I just mastered it through sheer determination lol.
Helicopters are just hard to fly no matter what. I think it's rather well done myself... took a little while to get used to it, but it's quite easy once you get the hang of it.
Cool game
Reminds me of the old-school game for the C64, CHOPLIFTER.
I'd go nvidia mainly for physx support... even though I'm still a big ATI fanboy, the current cards just aren't cutting it. Also the hig end ATI cards dhurn out mega amounts of heat, so if your case isn't well designed for airflow you will more than likely get heat problems.
As far as the CPU goes, the difference will be barely noticable since the clock speed is nearly the same... you have the extra L2 cache though so if you use a lot of big apps like photoshop etc you may notice filters calculate and apply faster, but overall there won't be a huge increase there. Having said that the overclocking potential of that particular intel CPU is quite good, so if you get a decent cooler for it you could clock that puppy up to 3.0-3.2ghz pretty easily.
DS, plus, it's easy to buy a flashcart and mod it etc.
Since you're replacing the motherboard, you'll have to reactivate Windows, not reinstall it. However, I personally suggest a fresh Windows installation after major hardware changes.
This.
Windows have never been very good at major hardware shifts.
Win98 would just crash completley... XP would crash sometimes but not other times... but it would run like poo if it managed to keep it together. Vista runs like poo, and even still crashes occasionally.
Damn, I was hoping to FIND some tips here, not have to try and think of some xD
I get so busy, I have to be in the right mood to work on anything... usually it helps to get me "into" it if I have done something else creative or fun during the day. I guess that can lead to inspiration which, for me, turns into motivation... especially on the creative side of things.
Failing all that, I get really drunk and hope for the best... which usually isn't very good. xD
