  • i've had to hold off releasing 2 titles because of the issues with CocoonJS and ads and the missing html5.cpp or whatever error. It's extremely frustrating.

I'm generally not the type to get online and complain but seriously, how can I expect to get projects out and make revenue when I can't even get the stuff to work properly?

I think I'm stuck with waiting for a stable version of C2 or something because now my apps wont run on my phone after the Ludei logo. It just flickers and never loads... sdfasihadfn!!!

  • My avatar is the Notion Games logo. The character in the logo is one of my very first creations when I started Notion. His name is Swiff and he's a squirrel that knows martial arts. The series is called Swiff: Tiny Tales and Swiff: The Legendary Tale.

  • Thank you guys for the kind words!

Thanks OddConfection for linking people to the Super Ubie Land steam page. I think you have inspired me to continue pushing the greenlight page.

  • OddConfection Thank you. The greenlight process, I don't know where to begin with that. I'm not even sure how to get the game greenlit. Super Ubie Land is on steam. Up Up Ubie Remix will probably not be on steam.

The name is Ubie, I just haven't updated the in-game menu options yet.

  • I am remaking my first game, Up Up Ubi. It is now Up Up Ubie REMIX.

The game is being created from scratch in Construct 2 and I am adding more levels, new music, new characters to unlock, changing gameplay rules, etc.

This game is still a work in progress, this video represents 3 days of work put into the game. I'll share progress as I go.

Here is the original game for comparison

  • At the end of the day, it all boils down to preference and what you are targeting. I've made several games with both C2 and native and I prefer C2. It's quicker in my opinion and it allows me to do everything that I want it to do. If there's something that I "couldnt" do, I usually later found a workaround.

Team Notion's development is being documented in EVERY issue of Pure Nintendo magazine. It's pretty amazing to have the project in each issue til completion.

The game has also found it's final form... a 2d beat em up metroidvania. Story is mostly written out and things are moving along nicely.
