  • I'd suggest making a tutorial on how to use spam filters in your own email client but, well you know...

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yeah the whole Captcha thing is pointless as long as there's cheap labor to do the dirty work.

No point in speculating in what they are paying them, my guess is they would kill their own family for a smile.

  • Unfortunately its as easy to make new email addresses as it is to get new ip's.

You have to look at it as nothing more than a child throwing a tantrum.

  • Nice read.

Seems like someone should offer a service for helping with the publication.

  • Maybe make it so the runtimes could be swapped, and used all the same resources.

    A template... sorta.

  • TiAm If you could only flag first posts it might work, but I sort of doubt it's worth the trouble to work out something as complicated it would be. The whole posting to get rep is a bad idea to begin with imo.

Dunno, maybe have a contest to make up a bunch of different Captchas using C2.

  • Crowdsource it.

If a user has x amount of rep, or a badge, that person can flag any dubious first post, the suspected spammer and its post/s get sent to the corner.

The newb gets limited to a hidden forum, and mods give a thumbs down later.

  • At least in nwjs you can request fullscreen from the browser object without user interaction.

Only problem is I get half fps for a while after going to fullscreen.

If you let the user cancel fs, and then request it, it doesn't seem to hurt the fps then.

  • Its hard to consider this as sponsored spam, it's not very cost effective. They have to take the time to find new ips, only to waste them in the effort of creating fake emails, and signing up.

Where all Ashley has to do is press a button.

  • 1: Nobody accused you of anything

2: It's not in their best interest to make it easier to do such things.

3: This is a game engine.

4: This is a public forum for Scirra. If you don't like the answers, or the lack there of, then quit asking them here.

5: See 4 for repeated spam posts.

  • You should probably give a use case.

Just grabbing images from websites isn't a standard thing, especially if you don't have permission to use them, plus a bunch of other reasons, bandwidth, etc.

  • I read that as, however there are some things he wants to do that are highly incompatible......

  • Aside from some weird occasional fps drops when going to full screen, nwjs works perfectly fine for me.

Chrome like Google is your best friend, that occasionally goes off on some strange bender.

You know you can trust it with your money, but there is no way you would with your kids.

  • For even more perspective.

Originally there was to be an sdk for third parties to create their own exporters.

Instead we have third party wrappers that barely work.

People asked for monetisation features, and they got them, for the wrappers that don't really work.

None for html5, the only thing that actually works.

    Moral of the story:

You can piss off some of the people some of the time, or

You can piss off all off the people all of the time when you try to make all of the people happy all of the time.

  • Most people respond well to examples.

    In other words, you first.
