  • Going to focus just on Lost In Creation for now =)

Okay, so if you try again, just take your time creating. (It takes quite a while.) You're not the only one here who doesn't know what to do. Once again, some feedback is probably lacking here.

Now I managed to get a little further. Didn't manage to keep the oblivion at bay though (if that even is possible). So every round I learned a little something new about the lights, but it is still a bit of a guesswork and mystery how they interact between each other.

I did note the dim spheres around the lights, but they were barely visible. I recommend increasing their visibility as I almost missed them.

It seems like there is an area around a light where one cannot create a new one? Seemed like it. Not sure. Or maybe there is a cool down? Unsure.

Maybe these issues are easily solved with feedback and reactions to player actions. Visual, or audio.

Also, after 4 (or did I do 5?) tries, I again feel a strain in my wrist. I am using a Logitech MX Master 3S mouse which requires some effort before it clicks so I feel I am straining a little as I hold.

I recommend you find an alternative input method. Maybe a brief click and hold to commit to a location and then a circling motion without the need to hold the mouse key? Holding a key for an extended period of time doesn't feel physically good, but a soft rotating motion might even release some strain if there was some before. Though you would have to consult a specialist on this one :D

It is a fragile balance fighting against how we have been conditioned to instant gratification.

If there is no feedback, I start questioning my action. If I see no reaction, I try something different, but maybe the first one was right after all and I just didn't wait long enough. Then there is the timer ticking. I need a solution or I am going to fail.

  • the left mouse button icon stays red for quite a while to indicate that the click must be held down.

I understood it as a symbol for which button to click, not duration. So this one - I feel - needs some more explicit guidance.

Did you get past the black screen where the flame is alone? That's information I'm interested in.

No, I held and clicked around, but didn't figure it out sadly.

The wind phase only lasts about 5 seconds, you know. Anyway, I'll take your feedback and impressions into account!

Let's see I walked off the cliff, down to the ruins where structures are falling. There was one that killed me multiple times. I bet this is just a skill issue =D BUT, yes, moving was so slow my wrist started hurting :S

Hmm, I think I by the virtue of having had experience with this genre can see where the mood/idea is possibly going, but didn't quite get there in reality.

You are welcome! I hope this has been at least a little helpful.

  • Heyo! I enjoy art games and game experiences every now I then so I was curious about what was going on here. Here are some thoughts.

    Lost in Creation

I felt this was something akin to a guided meditation session, but not enough guidance. That got in the way of the experience. Small thing like "click and hold" instead of just "click left" or just leaving the player on a black screen without telling the player that something is going on or not cause friction and confusion. Like in guided meditation, you have to hold the player's hand all the time.

I felt this was the cooler idea.

    Path to Dusk's Soul

The premise seemed interesting. The big block of text was a bit much and I didn't have enough time to read it. I get the idea of a tired protagonist fighting against the wind, but I started feeling strain in my wrist by just lightly holding the arrow key. So you might want to try a little smoother movement. A player doesn't want a still wrist from playing a game =D

  • I really like how this looks like! Well done My eyes are not that easily pleased even with AAA graphics. To make a game look good, it requires more than just 3D and high polygon count!

  • I really like those designs! Rough and dangerous, like the race. You should definitely have them in the game.

  • On my iPad so couldn't try the game on Arcade... video seemed cool though!

What is the goal here? Premise/story?

  • This is a fun one! How long have you been working on this? Got big plans?

  • Good luck with that then! I hope all goes smoothly I assume you already have your audio people, but if there ever is something audio related, don't hesitate to send me a message. I'd love to be of help!

  • You are welcome! There is something to look forward to then

  • Such good work! =) when are you releasing?

  • Such a throwback to the days of PSX! <3 I saw more of the videos on YouTube and really liked what I saw. Is the music final or placeholder? If final, it was good!

  • Seems like a fun "party" game I bet if something like this could be delivered to Xbox/PS, people would gladly part with the little extra money they might have. This is a great concept, so keep at it!

  • It has been a while I've been here but I am really glad to see how the game has evolved! And congratulations for the job in the industry too! =)

Will there be a MacOS compatible version?
