  Thanks, found an issue with using 'spawn' or 'create' after a 'wait' action. Should be fixed in the next build.

  Searching "lerp manual site:scirra.com" on Google gives system expressions as result 3. I know that's not a perfect result but it can work, and the forum posts you also get might still be useful.

  We have been meaning to do a downloadable and possibly printed manual for a long time now, but we are so busy it is difficult to make time for it.

  Have you tried getting people who see a blank screen to update their graphics card drivers? That solves a lot of issues. If it fixes it it's still not ideal, but helps identify the problem.

  It sounds like you're using the Release Preview or Consumer Preview. These old builds of Windows 8 aren't supported any more - you need RTM.

  Oops, you're right - I meant we generally strongly recommend it on the forum. (The tutorial should probably be updated to reflect that.) Because 'set position' requires a teleport and it's difficult for the engine to keep up with this, it has a tendency to make physics games unstable in general, not only just in this specific example. So we recommend using physics forces for everything and avoiding set position/set angle altogether. While I've implemented a workaround along the lines of what you described, it will not prevent you having other problems based on 'set position'.

  I'm afraid I don't think this can be fixed - it's a limitation of the physics engine that only entire object types can disable collisions between each other, not individual instances. So 'disable collisions' will affect all instances at once.

  Ah, I see. Should be fixed in the next build, thanks - but be aware there are always limits on how fast things can move and still reliably detect collisions. If you make the moving platform move too fast it will still miss collisions, but it should work fine for this case.

  Hmm, it would be listed under "Faulting module name", but it blames Construct 2. However awaking from sleep is another point where the graphics driver has to recover, so crashing at that point is very likely a driver issue again. Perhaps watch several crash reports and see what the "Faulting module name" is for all of them - are there ever any different names there?

  Ah, looks like Anchor requires a top-left origin. Workaround is just to set the origin to top left in the mean time. I'll try to have it fixed for the next build.

  Can you remember how to reproduce this problem? Are you using the latest release of Construct 2 (r103.2)?

  You can fix it though if you rename the .capx to zip, extract it, and open and edit the 'New project.caproj' at the line number it indicates. Make sure there are at least 3 points in the poly.
