  I think we use browser-provided features here so it could possibly be fixed by communicating across to the web view. It's really quite ugly to code though, so adding it to the DC side would be a lot nicer...

  supergodjesus - can you try installing Firefox and IE9, and try changing the WebGL setting to off, to get more information about whether or not these settings affect the bug?

  Not a bug: WindowWidth and WindowHeight are not related to the viewport, so halving them does not give you the middle of the screen. Use the system viewport expressions instead, e.g. (ViewportLeft("Layer 0") + ViewportRight("Layer 0")) / 2 to get the X position of the middle of the screen.

  Different browsers render text in different ways, and Construct 2's layout view also renders text differently to other browsers. This means you should expect the appearance of the Text object to vary slightly across browsers.

  You should test your game in a range of browsers to ensure text objects display how you intend for all users. For more information see Best practices.

  Unfortunately it's just a side effect of having lots of different text renderers in different browsers. There are some vertical align tools coming for the text object in the next release - that might help.

  NotionGames - it really ought to work on any modern desktop computer at all, using Windows XP SP3 and newer. (Watch out for the odd user still on XP SP2.) Maybe the next Awesomium update will fix it.

  Also, how exactly does input work? I don't suppose the Gamepad plugin works...? Do you just have to move a cursor around the screen? If so that would kind of limit a lot of games.

  Closing as not a bug: layers with parallax 0, 0 display relative to the dotted line in the top-left of the layout. You need to move the object inside the dotted area for it to display.

  Please note this is a known issue, but it is very difficult to fix it without a sequence of steps that makes the problem happen every time.

  supergodjesus - your project uses the third party Clay.io plugin. Can you remove it and repost the .capx so we can verify third party plugins are not the cause? Also, can you give me some guidance about when the problem occurs in the .capx and the steps to reproduce it, if it does not occur immediately?

  Any information about whether the problem occurs in a range of different browsers, and with WebGL enabled or disabled, would be helpful. Please also watch out for any browser console error messages and be sure to report those too.

  It's not a bug. You play the audio with an empty tag (""), then try to stop the tag "do2", and no audio is playing with that tag. (Remember to use tag names, not audio filenames). It works in Firefox and Chrome if you change the tag to "do2" in both places.

  Java is only used when you export. So I don't think it is related to the error message you posted.

  I ran your .capx and it worked fine. Can you provide any more information about the problem?

  You recovered the project properly, but didn't zip it back to a .capx properly (you should not zip the containing folder, just the files inside the directory). Just use 'save as single file' from Construct 2 in future since it handles all that for you. Rename that .capx to .zip again and you can open the .caproj inside just fine, otherwise use the working capx that I recovered.
