  arcgen - linux graphics card drivers are a huge mess. Open Chrome and type in chrome://gpu and you can see if Chrome thinks your drivers are good enough to enable hardware acceleration.

  Most vendors stop releasing driver updates for old hardware after a while. In this case your graphics card vendor has kind of left you for dead, since your drivers are probably buggy (causing WebGL to be disabled) and they won't give you an update. The only option then is to buy a new, recent graphics card which is still supported and has newer drivers.

  You should probably contact Intel about this issue. We don't have any tools to diagnose compiled XDK apps, we can only work with the emulator, so if it works there we can't diagnose the problem. Only Intel can do that.

  You should already be able to do something useful with the WebSocket object, but it requires setting up your own server and isn't suitable for realtime stuff (since it works over TCP).

  We do have some more advanced multiplayer features planned, but we're a small team and very busy... so maybe later this year!

  The log is showing an error in CocoonJS, not Construct 2. You should still report it to them.

  4 GB should be plenty for Construct 2! It should even run well with 2 GB RAM, it doesn't need much memory.

  There is no single screen size that is widespread. There are so many different sizes that most systems are different. See Kyatric's link.

  I actually develop Construct 2 on Windows 8, so it's actually more likely to work on Windows 8 than other versions of Windows!

  If you want to test your game on a tablet, you should probably buy a tablet, simply because you hold a tablet differently and controls that work well on a tablet might not work well on a laptop touchscreen.

  Closing, please reproduce the problem in a new empty project. Otherwise I'd say it's just a mistake in your events. If there really is a problem with loops it shouldn't be hard to reproduce in a new project.

  Closing - despite the error message, this is not a bug in Construct 2. In all programming languages you cannot recurse too deep or you overflow the stack. For example with a value of 1000, you have 1000 simultaneous function calls, which exhausts the memory area reserved for function calls.

  This is a problem with recursion in any programming language. The solution is to use a loop instead, which is easy in this case.
