Casino? money? who knows? but the target is the same!
  • I voted for "multiplayer function" to be first, this would be fun and important, i just imagined how fun to play with many players, ping pong, car racing, tank game <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />.

the second choice simply, we want better tileset support <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

the final choice if i'm able to vote, will go for simple image editor, heck i hope you can cooperate with brashmonkey for that feature if possible <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I believe better monetization options are a must!

  • I believe better monetization options are a must!, We love this tool but we want to able to make some money to compete as full time developers as well. Options like in-app purchases or other external revenue channels would be great. I understand some of these options include server side scripting, but perhaps construct can further facilitate this process.

  • More event sheet features is good, but I personally believe better tile map support should be a priority is a good idea, as well. Online multiplayer... That shouldn't be as important, IMO.

  • More powerful events, and perhaps a VERY simple image editor. At least support pasting graphics from the clipboard in the next build, if you don't feel like doing the editor. It's essential to my workflow. (probably others too).

Also, add "overlapping at offset". That idea davo had one night is a godsend. It's the single most useful event in construct classic.

  • EXE wrapper and LARGE Data Files Saved To Disk option

  • Candescence

Tile map supported -- TMX importer And a demo

  • Fade in and fade out of layout/ level will be usefull :)

  • shaders, every modern games must have :P

  • Polls are back again, yes!

  • I vote for image editing tools <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm aware of it, but it has some limitations that I really don't like, such as having to input the data manually into an action rather than reading it off an XML file, and only showing the actual tile map at runtime rather than in the editor as well. Among other things.

It's neat, but it's not very practical at all, IMO.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I put my vote on more event sheet features. Just seems like basic functionality and should be prioritized imho.

Secondary picks would be Online Multiplayer and Better Tilemap Support.

When it comes to tilemap suppport I'm a bit curious about what you have in mind for it.

    Speculation time:

Something I think would be awesome is if tilemap support would include something like an alternate editor where you can make a map which you could load at runtime. Hopefully this could possibly allow for seamless transitions between maps/layouts (that'd be a kickass feature, seriously).

Another benefit I think could come from this would be to allow the placement of game logic dependent objects (spawners, detectors etc), not only environment/obstacles, as well as using layers within those maps.

When it comes to multiplayer. While I did have multiplayer as a secondary pick, I went with event sheet functions instead because multiplayer is a BIG thing to tackle (I mean, just look at Capcom... ). Maybe you could do it incrementally. It being a choice on the poll suggests that you have a plan for it though. But even so, I'll bet it's going to require a lot of time put into it to make sure it works. I'm all for multiplayer, but functionality has the priority atm.

  • I should have mentioned - online multiplayer depends on WebSockets, which is pretty much just Firefox and Chrome on desktop at the moment. So at first it wouldnt work on mobiles, tablets or IE. So I think it would be best to wait on that for a while, especially since its a big and complex project. So event sheet features looks like the best place to start for now.

  • Yes i agree :)
