  • The r250 release notes outlined the new options. They are:

    1. Run local builds with the Cordova CLI

    2. Use a third-party service like PhoneGap Build

    3. Use C3 to build C2 exports (note the entire C3 subscription is cheaper than a PhoneGap Build subscription alone)

  • AFAICT the issue in this thread is a crash on startup, not a crash when opening a new project. In the past, crashes opening a project are always graphics driver crashes, because that's the first time C2 creates the OpenGL context for a layout view. So if you see a crash there you probably need to update your graphics drivers or install any available system updates. Additionally if you ever have an issue with a specific C2 version, you can always install the older working version again, although this won't fix a broken graphics driver.

    Since the originally reported crash on startup appears to be fixed, closing this report.

  • There's nothing I can do unless you follow the full bug report guidelines (steps to reproduce etc.) or provide a project that you want recovered. Otherwise there is literally nothing for me to investigate. Maybe you could try another browser like Firefox, Edge or Safari?

  • I'd advise against adding any new translations for the time being, since it looks like I'll be rolling it back on Monday, which was at 77% complete.

  • A lifetime payment for a service that has fairly high on-going running costs is simply not economical. We could easily lose money for everyone who paid.

  • In general please post bug reports here following all the guidelines: https://github.com/Scirra/Construct-3-bugs/issues

    If you have a project that needs recovering, you can send it to me at and I'll try to recover it, but I can't guarantee it can be recovered. Also without knowing how the problem happened in the first place we can't fix the root cause so we don't know if it'll happen again. This is why you must keep regular backups!

  • This is one of my concerns - maybe someone is trying to remove other people's contributions?

    It looks like the whole thing was deleted and an earlier version of the translation (with more mistakes) was pasted back in. It looks like it was done by "Renato Rivero". Unless someone can explain to me what has happened by Monday, then I will ban that user and restore the version of the translation that was up there prior to January 23rd.

  • I would imagine it's far easier to work if you split any long event sheets up in to smaller sheets of related events, and include them. Dumping everything in to one giant sheet sounds like a headache.
