It sounds like the main reported issue is fixed, will follow up any other issues separately.
I can reproduce a build failure using a project name of 1 (not sure why you would use that as a project name though...). I filed an issue about that.

I don't know what could be causing this, since we made no significant changes to the editor since r265. However I just released a new beta update which includes the latest version of our third-party UI library in case that was causing issues. Let me know if it helps.
What was the project name before, when it didn't work? If it contained invalid characters or something then the editor should warn about that.
FYI loading external images only works if the remote server specifically allows it (using CORS). This is an important security restriction so websites can't do things like steal your profile picture without permission. So if the images don't load it's probably that...
The last several C2 releases have included the alternatives in the release notes, which are:

Can you post a link to the HTML code that is added and the contents of any JavaScript?
That's an editor API. Are you trying to use it from the runtime or something?

Please report any issues to the bug tracker following all the guidelines. Issues posted elsewhere will not be investigated.
The most common problems people have are:
- while the loader layout itself is loading, the stock loader is shown again
- if the project loads very quickly, you will only very briefly see the loader layout
