Gotta say, that's a really nicely done game. Love the control system and animations. Good job!
Did you run the full installer including the Visual C++ 2005 redist? That's the kind of error you'd get if you didn't run the full setup.

I don't think it's going to happen this side of 2.0. A lot of the code already depends on the August 2008 DirectX 9 so it would be a lot of work to remove it, and I really don't like doing a lot of work to support old systems that will be out of use in a few years. Updating DirectX is fairly straightforward anyway.
1 - value will toggle between 0 and 1. 0/1 are the standard boolean values, rather than -1/1.
I've contacted the host about the forum slowness, hopefully they'll sort it out soon.
Oh OK, better mention that next time so you dont get my default response
Davo, any ideas on this? I think Davo added that for receiving keyboard input for the custom collision mask editor, but maybe Construct doesn't forward all kinds of window message.
If you want to measure performance, set the framerate mode from V-synced to unlimited, or the FPS you get is just the refresh rate of your monitor. That way I get about 120fps. Nice example!
Would it be useful if I added that functionality into the import image dialog. A 'split by gap' button?
That, and support for importing tile maps in the image editor, has been requested a lot before, so I think it'd be good to add.
...can you post it to the tracker please? I really would discourage anyone posting bugs to the forum. They'll simply be forgotten. The tracker is the official bug list.
Python is David's feature, so I'm afraid I'm going to leave it up to him to sort this one out.
Does it happen in 0.99.72? What is the exact error message?
