There's no way to save everything yet. You can try WebStorage, but it is difficult to save a lot of data with it. The easiest thing is probably just to save the level/stage number to WebStorage, and load from that.

There's no limit on the width of a layout! It's just very large layouts might get fiddly to use in the editor, or a bit slow.

If your project crashed on export please post a bug report! We can't fix bugs we don't know about.

Well, here's the Web Audio API which is a work in progress. It's seriously technical, but you can probably spot a few features, like DynamicsCompressor and BiquadFilter - other more complicated effects will probably have to be done in a JavaScriptAudio node, which means writing javascript to process the effect.

You don't have to use IE, just make sure IE8 is installed and it'll use IE8's engine to display the start page. (Edit: said IE9 at first, but that doesn't support XP :P)

I've asked Tom to have a go and see if he can fix it for IE6 though, I'm sure you're not the only one still on IE6. It's a bit of a headache though, IE6 really is crap.

I think in C2 it would shift up all the other indices. i.e. move it to the given place then renumber everything in the list.

I think they'll be enabling that by default in a future release of Chrome, so probably best to wait it out then everyone's got it.

It upgrades the free edition to a licensed edition (which removes the free limits). You also get a badge on your profile pic - that's it, not really a premium account.

Construct 2's installation is portable so you can use it on multiple computers. Just make sure you're the only person using it (if someone else wants to use it they must buy their own license).
