Groups are just for organisation really - you can keep long lists of events tidy with them.

You can also just right click the first loop and 'Add another condition' and add the second loop to the same event. Using a subevent also works, but IMO it looks a little tidier with both in the same event (and I think it runs a bit faster too).

Use loopindex("x") and loopindex("y") to get the current iteration for each loop.

Are you sure you're not slightly scaling or parallaxing any layers? If so remember to pass the layer to the expression (e.g. Mouse.X("Background")) to get the mouse position for that layer.

Well, this sounds like a Chrome problem, so I doubt there's much we can do other than wait for new versions of Chrome and hope they fix it.

FWIW, I use Chrome for most of my testing and it's always been rock solid and with Chrome 15 nice and smooth 60fps, no choppiness.

You're right, the timescale only affects the duration of the shake, not the actual shake. I'll try get this sorted for a future build.

Yes, just to clarify:
- global variables persist their values, and local variables reset every tick
- both global and local variables can be accessed by sub-events and sub-groups, but local variables cannot be accessed by parent events or groups.
This is how variables work in programming languages, and C2 is designed to match that.

AlexmosuTSP - UIDs only change in the editor. So if you hard-code an event that says "pick object with UID 5", and do some stuff in the editor, that event might later refer to a different object.
UIDs however are always unique to an object at runtime. So if you retrieve an object's UID and store it in an instance variable, for example, it will always refer to that object.

Wink is right, just change the 'preview browser' property in project properties, and it won't affect your default browser. It's always a good idea to test all major browsers though.
edisone - there are many very small browsers which generally aren't used widely - I think you should only concern yourself with testing the five major browsers Wink posted to save yourself some time and headaches.
