This plugin is hands down the best Admob plugin for C3. Very updated and has all the features you need. The developer is very nice too! :)

If you add this to your game and build an APK, the game will crash on start without adding any events. Even the sample app included will not open. Maybe this worked in the past, but it won't at all now.
UPDATE: Worker is set to NO and it does not work.
