    Also, Dataflash... If you test anything out, I'd be keen to see how it works out. If it's plausible for something simple, it may work for something more complicated.

    Hmmm well that sort of confirms the IRC idea... though I would have no idea where to start with something like that. It's been so many YEARS since I've used IRC I would have to relearn all of that stuff just to get a room going with reliable bots... which would then need programming scripts etc etc.

    I am still determined to find a way... I work with the tools I have... and since I don't have a proper tool, I will dodgy something together and make it work as good as it can.

    Thanks for your input everyone... I think I have enough information thusly to realise this won't be easy, but should at least be possible to some extent. If anyone gets all excited and starts playing with this idea themselves, please share any results you find so we can all learn from it.

  • There is no need to delete anything. Just slow down a bit and give people time to participate before creating a new challenge.

    I would suggest a new one once per week, or something like that... this will encourage multiple solutions/examples and also not take up too much of peoples spare time.

    Good ideas though... I like how you have made them with some continuity and presented them with some funny pictures and captions

    And yeah, everyone chill out... this isn't fag-chan or HL2world forums...

    Yeah I'm noe reconsidering this... it would be nice etc, but I don't want to get locked in to a 2 year contract with a new technology... I can see the prices dropping like mad once the roll-out is complete.

    Will be making up my mind by tomorrow afternoon so I can call and cancel if I still feel unsure about it.

  • The best way to find out what's going on is if someone takes a look at your cap.

    This. Post it up so someone can take a look at it... but more likely than not it's going to be issues with setting animations.

    You may have not looped frames where they should be looped, or need to adjust animation speeds? Who knows. Post up the cap and someone will take a look for you, fix the problem, and tell you where you went wrong.

    Hopefully it's as good as it sounds. The promised 100mbit speed should be slightly better than my current 5mbit (which is SUPPOSED to be 24mbit, but thanks to ****** copper wires all over this city, I get just over 5 instead).

  • Not bad for a MUGEN game.

    Most of them used ripped and recoloured sprites... it's nice to see some new art even if it's not "the best". I think overall the style is consistent and the animations are good. Also, the inventiveness of the characters is appealing. I might have to give this game a shot and see what it's like first hand even though I typically despise MUGEN games.
