  • This sounds like a very very easy test. If you were to try, you could probably do it yourself, as someone who has never used the program, in under 10 minutes. You can do it with the free program as well.

  • I'm sure they have thought about all these things (fingers crossed). The plugin manager is something basic that should already be added in C2 IMO, issues like the ones you've brought up should be easy to mitigate.

  • Just look at the blog posts. The first one has 17 pages of comments, the latest has less then 2. I understand the idea behind the trickle of information but people are really losing interest.

  • Construct 2 is a one time payment.

  • Construct 2 - Pay $99 one time.

    Construct 3 - Pay $99 every year.

Edit: Both C2 and C3 also have a limited free version available.

  • If you buy c2 now, it will be a one time fee of $99 for the software. The purchase includes 1 year of c3 for free, but you will have to start paying $99 per year after the first free year IF you want to continue to use c3. If you just want to continue using c2, you will not have to pay a yearly fee.

  • Well, yeah, they are back up now. But man it's getting annoying.

  • The arcade page and all games are down again.

  • Try Construct 3

  • I don't see why not, as long as you have the proper license.

  • I can't reproduce.

  • I've had similar error messages when I click undo or redo too quickly. Now I'm careful to not click them too fast.

  • It's a browser issue and it is not a priority to be fixed (has been around for at least 2 years, and they have known about it for just as long). Just put the files in the sound folder. Preload them on start of game if necessary.

  • I normally don't do this, but I would like to ask for a feature upgrade for C3. Would it be possible to upgrade the undo/redo function in the editor to be more informative?

For example, currently undo/redo only offers very basic info on what you're doing:

    create object type sprite

    rename object

    move one instance

    add event

    add action

It can make undoing stuff a tedious process. Is it possible to be more descriptive with the actions?

    create object type sprite

    renamed object sprite to wizard

    moved object wizard to 30,100

+ event wizard set opacity to 50 (line 1)

+ action on start of layout (line 1)

    Thank you for your consideration.

  • Your capx contains a third party plugin.

  • Jayjay Your game looks great! The title/logo is a bit hard to read for me though.
