  • C2 just launches a Windows command like

    chrome localhost

    If Windows doesn't understand that command it shows that prompt. I'm not sure why that would be - maybe you didn't install Chrome with admin privileges so it couldn't add the Windows command?

    More preview browser options is on the todo list.

  • Yann is right, a .caproj file is just a list of other files in the project, and you haven't included any of them - make sure you save as a .capx which has everything.

    Monitor callibration/colour correction can affect colours, I've seen the same happen in Firefox too - not sure there's anything we can do about it, it seems the browser decides what colour correction to apply.

  • Can you show me an image of what you mean? I'm not sure what your proposed fix is, and it seems to me you could just make 2 layers from the lighting example and have 2 layers of lighting.

  • It depends on the browser and phone hardware - like you've done you just need to play with different devices and see which values work.

  • The HTML content shown between the <canvas> and </canvas> tags in the exported page is shown if the browser doesn't support canvas. You should just use that, it's much easier!

  • Good idea, decided to make it Ctrl+Tab for next build (so you can still do it with one hand).

  • Good idea, added for next build!

  • Mipey, doing

    var test = {"count":0, "text" : "Some text"}

    should be fine, so long as you access it with

    test["count"] = ...;
    test["text"] = ...'

    The minifier works by mangling all .property accesses, but never changes anything "in quotes". So you only break things by mixing and matching.

  • At the end of the layout all events left waiting with the 'wait' action are cancelled.

    So you have:

    + On end of layout

    ...

    -> Wait 0.1 seconds

    -> Set group "SaveConfig" activated - this never runs because the layout ended 0.1 seconds ago.

  • Sounds like a driver issue, updating should help. Whats your paypal? :P

  • Zeus - we're using the new Web Audio API in Chrome which no other tools are doing yet. Chrome tends to crash and have memory leaks with HTML5 audio, and HTML5 audio has extremely limited features, so we switched to the new (and much better if this bug didn't happen) Web Audio API. Chrome's Web Audio API has this bug so it's in the browser, and that explains why other tools don't have the bug (they don't use it yet), but there's still nothing we can do about it. Usually they have quick fixes though, Chrome gets updated every 6 weeks ish, so hopefully it won't be around for long and will just get fixed.

    We can't really go back to HTML5 audio or Chrome will start crashing and leaking memory again :-\</p>

  • You can do this already - make your 'global' event sheet and add an 'event sheet include' in each sheet you want to also use the global sheet on. It's like cutting and pasting that sheet in to the event sheet.

  • Yep, we've got more planned, just a lot on our todo list right now!
