  There appears to be an invalid character or bad unicode codepoint at the start of the fifth word in the SpriteFont object's 'Text' property.

  I'm not sure what we could do to stop this. If you just type out the property again, it should work fine.

  IE11 on Windows 8.1 seems to set the cursor just fine for me. The other issue with click events not firing should be fixed in the next build.

  The article is out of date. Audio sprites are redundant because Safari supports the Web Audio API.

  Closing as won't fix. There are well over 30,000 images in this project, notably Sprite through Sprite1378 all of which appear identical and redundant, doing nothing but wasting memory. You cannot possibly expect the software to be able to handle this. You must design your project to use far, far fewer images than this.

  Just insert the tilemap plugin and open the tilemap bar and select the pencil tool. Then you can directly edit tiles inside the area of the tilemap plugin.

  Alternatively just drag-and-drop a .tmx in to the layout.

  It depends which layouts are set to use which event sheets and which event sheet includes you have. Post a .capx if you want anyone to investigate further.

  Construct 2 uses the browser-based Gamepad API for the Gamepad plugin. It works on any platform that supports it. AFAIK iOS doesn't currently support it, but as soon as they add it the plugin will start working on that platform.

  Nobody's forcing you to buy an XBox 360 controller, and several other kinds of controller should work fine. However Windows has drivers for it pre-installed, some other systems support it by default, and C2's Gamepad object uses the XBox 360 controller buttons as the standard button set which other controller buttons are mapped to, so it's generally the easiest controller to use.

  Also note I think the wired controller is cheaper and works out of the box - using the wireless controller with a PC requires some driver installation IIRC.

  Spambots were hitting the forum hard, posting lots of spammy links and creating lots of boring work for the moderators and admins. We raised the rep limit and it almost completely stopped. So yes, I'm afraid this is something you'll have to live with. If you post around the site a bit and look at the badges section you should be able to get enough rep fairly easily.

  Just use a fullscreen mode like 'letterbox scale', and it will scale the game back up to look correct.

  Is it also launching Chrome within Parallels? VMs sometimes have pretty poor performance, since they don't support GPU acceleration and will give you software rendering. Maybe previewing from Chrome running back in OS X will work? If not, maybe using preview-over-LAN mode?
