  Can't reproduce on Windows 8.1 with a nVidia GeForce GTX 660. Is it an old card? If so it might be stuck on old drivers which are still broken.

  BTW your instructions are a bit ambiguous since the layer named "Layer 1" is at index 2. I tried flipping the Transparent option of all three layers to yes/no, and I couldn't see any glitches.

  As far as we are aware it works fine for the majority of users. Have you tried the latest version of Construct 2?

  Does it still happen in r150? If so, post a minimal .capx reproducing the issue to the Bugs forum following all the guidelines.

  Point sampling is supported in canavs2d mode in some browsers. It's a relatively new addition to canvas though, so older browsers might not support it.

  Google are working on a MIDI API for Chrome. We will probably support it officially if/when it comes.

  It probably doesn't make a difference. The window size property is kind of misnamed - it actually specifies the viewport size. If everything ends up the same size on screen, it's doing the same rendering work.

  We endeavour to keep every update of Construct 2 backwards compatible wherever feasible. On very rare occasions we make breaking changes, and clearly point them out in the release notes.

  Back up your project and then open it in the new version. If you want to go back for some reason, reinstall the older build and open the backup (note if you save in a newer version you can't open in an older version, which is why you should back up). Hopefully though everything will just work smoothly.

  Why not just design your game using the 80 size and use a letterbox scale mode with high-dpi enabled so it shows full quality on hi-res displays?

  It only attempts to estimate the peak memory use of the images in the project. (This is the memory use of images on whichever layout has the biggest memory use requirement, plus some estimated overhead).

  I really doubt it covers enough of Construct 2's broad feature set to be even remotely useful.

  HTML5 is better than Flash in a lot of ways and on mobile Flash is pretty much already dead - and most game portals are starting to take HTML5 games as well, e.g. NewGrounds and Kongregate both accept HTML5 games now.

  Exports and runs fine on the Mac Mini running Mavericks in our office. Takes a moment to launch first time, but seems to be OK.
