    This is my first attempt at making a game, it's aimed at kids and just a demo level, I've got loads more ideas for other levels.

    Any feedback is very welcome!

    I built this originally in Construct 2 and have just signed up to Construct 3.

    I imported the game and tried the C3 runtime but it wouldn't upload to the arcade until I switched back to C2 runtime

  • Hi all,

    I'm hoping this is straight forward.

    I have a sprite moving up the screen.

    I have it set so when key is pressed the sprite moves left & right at angle.

    keyboard-right arrow is down-sprite-move 1.5 pixels at angle 0

    keyboard-left arrow is down-sprite-move 1.5 pixels at angle 180

    I'd like to make it so the longer the key is held down, the more the angle increases.

    Hope that makes sense.

  • Hi all,

    I'm working on a top down game and I'm having trouble working out how to make a block that is pushable in all directions by the player.

    I've tried adding physics to the block with world gravity set to 0 at the start of the layout but don't know what setting to use.

    There's plenty of tutorials on platform games but nothing on top down.

    Hoping there's an easy way to do this.

    I have a top down game where the player has to jump over some objects at the correct time.

    How can I trigger collisions with this? as the object has collisions on and they collide with it even if they jump.

    I'm making a top down game and want the player to slow down when overlapping another sprite (grass)

    I've tried various events like Player Sprite-is overlapping grass sprite-player sprite-set customMovement Overall speed to 2

    But it doesn't seem to work.

    Collisions are detected if Grass sprite is set to solid, can I change the solid behaviour in events?

  • Hi all,

    Sure this is simple but I'm stuck!

    My player sprite has custom movement with 3 directions using arrow keys.

    I have collisions enabled but player just walks straight through invisible wall set as solid.

    The collision is registered when using 8direction.

    I'm thinking you have to set an event and have tried sprite-collision enabled action:sprite 3 (wall) enabled.

    Still not working.

  • Hi all,

    Just making a portrait top down game, i'd like the player to be stuck to the bottom of the screen so as they move forward (up) the screen moves with them still at the bottom (hope that makes sense)

    Hope someone can help
