  • Well I don't know, but from the discussions had on the inability to make it so users can add custom sections to the editor, and the fact that none of the other sections other than the layout editor have a zoom, I would say its a good guess.

  • Take a look at a caproj, and the c2 runtime in a text editor.

Its a little more complicated than making a translation.

In a way a C2 game is already being interpreted into javascript, which is itself an interpreted language.

To look at things work wise, would you rather have a Unity exporter, or C3?

  • You shouldn't be afraid of someone else doing it, you should be afraid of someone else doing it better.

  • Wouldn't it be about the same as writing a native exporter?

  • Just release free stuff on opengameart.org

Any expansions done in the store here automatically get posted to the forum.

  • You have to pick some unit to work with, and I don't see vectors, or vexels becoming viable any time soon.

Perhaps we could use the refresh rate somehow...

    Edit:

  • Ok system picks all

Compare instance variable falling=1 is more straightforward imo.

Anyway if its not the condition, its the action.

Might take a look at the function.

  • Its hard to say since the top tier condition is probably picking just one instance.

You might need to call a function that picks all the animation playing instances.

  • Somebodys been busy.

I must say trim and shift are "neat"

If you're looking for other shaders to try, how about skew?

    speed=pps-0.5^dt

At this point I'm not even sure if thats the proper formula.

    It would:

A: Simplify things for non coders, in an engine made for non coders.

B: Get a decent approximation of pixels per second without having to guess.

To be honest I have a hard time remembering every little trick without writing every formula down.

    When we didn't even have lerp I looked "x = A + t * (B - A)" up, just like anybody else can.

Don't even get me started on anglelerp(), or distance(), or angle().

  • I wonder if perhaps a new expression for speed would be a good idea.

Something that would have dt applied, but be simplified to pixels per second, like say speed().

  • Let me just add that you should assume you might want to use timescale in all projects.
