  • It's a cool effect.

    As I recall CC had a shader that would let you use a mask to blur based on a heightmap.

    Custom shapes, variable blur that way.

  • Are you talking about text, or text box?

    korbaach showed you how to do it for text box already.

    If you think text should have it, make a feature request, or use a third party plug.

  • You could try the Textbox object, but it will need a bit of css.

    Also you can try to scroll to any position on start of layout.

  • A system like Mario maker is something I've already tinkered with, it's just that the back end is fairly complicated, and requires existing infrastructure.

    Plus if Construct 3 does what we are expecting, external editors may not be worth as much.

  • I could do a super basic editor that uses the existing save state methods for say $200.

    It's all doable, that's just based man hours to implement it.

    That is with the downloadable level being nothing but a text type file with game data.

  • Actually , no it shouldn't be that way. This is an official plug. It should work as stated, or at least have an official statement why it's currently not working.

    The problem is that he has nothing to tell that he is doing something wrong, or if it's broken.

    The plug has very little documentation, and no official examples.

    This isn't one of those novice expectations like one click deploy, or unlimited ram.
