Well, it's always tricky to fix issues I can't reproduce... no way to know if I've fixed it. Still, I'll revise the http server code and see if I can come up with something...
Works fine for me in all browsers in both preview modes: test
This is why you should always provide a .capx: it seems to be working fine here, so presumably you're doing something else you hadn't realised that is causing a problem.
Good point, it's a useful event that is missing. Added for next build.
Caer, try one of the things zenox98 suggested.
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
I'm not sure how your host is set up, maybe you need to restart the server or wait a while for it to check the new .htaccess. Best to go to your host with these questions.
Can you make a .capx file? Setting things invisible works fine for me.
Isn't that what setting an object invisible does?
For audio I think it might be a bug fixed in the next build - audio files don't work on case sensitive servers.
If you press Ctrl+Shift+J though you'll see this error:
pplication Cache Error event: Invalid manifest mime type (text/plain) games.apimenti.com/projects/spacebar/offline.appcache
You need to contact your host and get them to make sure the .appcache file is sent with the text/cache-manifest MIME type otherwise the caching will be broken.
You can save to the user's computer using the WebStorage plugin. Did you want server-side saving though?
Are you on the latest C2 release?
What OS and service pack are you on?
I think it's most likely the HTTP server not shutting down - if you always use File preview mode, does it still happen?
Windows 8 supports HTML5 applications - so I think it's more likely you'll get that in C2!
Link us to where the game is running and we can check it out and see what's wrong.
