Seats

As defined in the opening section of this tutorial, a seat represents one license and a subscription contains a number of seats.

You may assign seats to a specific construct.net account to allow users of your team to access one or more seats in your available pool.

However, you can alter your assignment to other accounts at any time.

Assign a seat

To assign a seat to a specific account, visit the "Your subscriptions" section under the Account menu. Once on the subscription page, click the link "View/Edit" alongside your subscription.

To assign seats to registered accounts, click "Manage your licenses". This will bring up a list of your seats, including their associated username if you’ve assigned any seats. You can click "Edit" to make changes to a seat.

Managing your seats allows you to assign a license to a user by typing their username into the box or remove a seat from your subscription entirely.

If at any point you want to unassign a seat that is already assigned to a user, go into its details and click "REVOKE".

Login to an account in the editor

To log into an account in Construct 3 itself, you need to use the account menu within the editor. This can be found either under the main menu (click Menu in the top bar) or on the right-hand side of the editor where you’ll see ‘Free Edition Guest’. Using either of these menus, select the Log in option.

This will open up a small window where you can input your login details.

Providing your credentials were input correctly, once you click "Log in" the dialog and the Guest icon should be replaced by your username and profile image.
