Accounts

Register an account on our website

Accounts are created via our website and as previously mentioned, give you access to both the account section on construct.net and whichever Construct 3 version you have licensed to you within the editor.

To register a new account, click in the top-right corner of the website on the button "Register". If you’ve previously had an account with us on scirra.com, you can use the same credentials.

Input the required information, a unique username, password and valid email address:

Please make sure your email address is correct and current as you will need to access it in order to validate your account.

When you click "CREATE ACCOUNT" and have correctly entered your details, you will be automatically logged to your new account and will have the opportunity to fill in your profile.

If anything goes wrong during the account registration, an error message should be displayed indicating what field is causing an issue and how to resolve it by changing what you typed in.

Please note you will also receive an email asking you to activate your email address. If you do not receive it please check your spam folders, and make sure your email address is correct in your profile – you can find that in the category "CONTACT DETAILS". If you have further issues verifying your email, please contact us at supporttqe@scirra.com

The email should be from noreplytqe@construct.net and will look like the screenshot below. As indicated in the email, click the link (or button) "click here to activate your email address".

This should open up a new window with the following message:

If anything goes wrong, or if you’re not sure if your account has been verified, you can go back to editing your profile (hover your mouse over the avatar in the top-right corner of the page and in the drop-down Account menu, click on "Personal information") and check the status of your account.

Scroll down to "CONTACT DETAILS" where you’ll see the email address associated with the account. If verification has been unsuccessful, or you’ve not clicked the verification link yet, then a message will appear underneath the information box telling you that the email has not been verified.

If you’ve made a mistake in typing in your email address, this is where you can modify or update it if necessary. Once you’ve made any changes you want to, you can click "Re-send activation email" and follow the steps above.

When verification is successful, the message in "CONTACT DETAILS" should read "This email address is verified".

Logging into an account on our website

Whenever you come back to our website, you may need to log back into your account. If you’ve been logged out, you’ll no longer see your profile picture or avatar in the top-right corner of the page – it will have been replaced by a red ‘Register’ button.

Just below this button however, is the option to log in, so if you have been logged out, simply click this link and you’ll be taken to the login screen.

You can then enter your account credentials.
