  • Here everyone can post artwork they are willing to release to the community for use in games. Not everyone can draw, so I'm sure there will be some grateful code monkeys out there who can get some nice artwork for free.

This can include static images, animation sheets, animated characters already in a .cap, bone rigged characters, etc, etc. Anything that might be useful that you don't mind letting everyone use unconditionally. If you want to post free for non-commercial use only, that's also fine but please make sure it it clearly stated.

Check this thread for some stuff people already posted:

Feel free to repost here if you like.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads

    lulz xD

    Nice sprite additions everyone.

Yeah I think a new thread in the Tools section might be an idea, for Construct user created sprite libs.

I'll go make one and link it to his thread as well.

  • bump for devs

PM link to this thread to Ashley or David... make sure they see it

  • Due to major bugs with physics stability/things not working, this project is temporarily on hold.

  • Hahaha that's awesome, good job DravenX

  • It doesn't "fix" physics...

It just adds some useful stuff.

    Also, hinges work.

Also, it's not without it's own issues.

Also, Quazi.... you are a nut. That's sheer awesome. Nice work on the dynamic shading and stuff, that looks crazy. Kind of reminds me of cel shading which I adore due to my anime and comic book *******

  • This really should be made into a free library or something that comes with construct

Sorry, reviving old threads while looking for something is fun.

  • Any idea if this still works correctly in latest builds?

Don't want to waste time messing around with something to find out 6 hours later it doesn't work for some reason... cheers!

  • Needs a "print" button and my kids would love it

  • really nice to know that construct games are getting famous, i think there should be a page on the main website featuring some of the good game like Mega Thumb(it's front paged on game jolt) Lucidity and WIP's like minitroid and Lucid's mantis sword game.

There have been quite a few games with good exposure that are made with Construct...

A couple that come to mind was that sound driven thing that Radix made, and Towerclimb by Davioware.

I'm sure there have been others as well, but my memory fails me.

  • Wow nice, a plugin

If only it could have combined perimeters from Silent Cacophony's generator, this one here that you have made, and something along the lines of a typical cellular automata generator for cave-like structures... it would be the ultimate!

I would also like to see something that could make realistically laid-out building interiors as well.

Still, freaking awesome for a plugin

  • Yeah, Phun is cool... something like that at runtime would be excellent.

The ability to create objects and load them as objects in some sort of custom library would be sweet.

Then you could upload/send created physics objects to others for use in games or whatever. Anything from a simple rope, to something more complex like a suspension bridge... whatever you like.

So yes, a more improved design-time physics creation... as well as being able to save objects separately to the cap.

If I had to choose between one or the other, I would say better design-time creation/manipulation.

  • Try using a "For Each" loop...

Or have another condition that has to be compared in order for the event to work, such as having a detector object or even "is overlapping explosion" etc.

  • $35 quote is not for retail... it's subsidized for educational institutions.

They're not talking about retail yet.

Yes I posted before it got to that part, but still even for retail it should come in under $150 easy... still worth it considering the next closest price (here anyway) is like $500+.
