  This has been reported several times before, but it's a bug in our UI library and we can't fix it. The workaround is to pin the ribbon and then it works. Closing as won't fix.

  Error 740 is ERROR_ELEVATION_REQUIRED ("The requested operation requires elevation.") - perhaps try right-clicking and running as administrator? It's odd though, C2 should run just fine without any elevated permissions...

  Are your graphics drivers up to date? Either way your hardware sounds very old indeed, the Athlon XP was released in 1999, right? Perhaps it is no longer supported...

  If there are any essential features you want built-in, please suggest them. But as I outlined it is very difficult (including for both legal, technical and support reasons) to ship third party code with C2 itself.

  Just make all layers invisible, but you should probably leave one information layer visible so you can see what it's doing.

  1. You can set this in preferences.

  2. This would not speed up export much. It exports the project once, then adds 6 wrappers around it (win/osx/linux 32/64), which amounts to copying a few files. The slow work is in exporting the project.
