  Solid 60 FPS here as well, in Chrome.

  The most likely cause is your graphics card drivers are out of date and the browser is falling back to software rendering. Try updating your graphics drivers.

  You need to adjust your use of families to more accurately reflect what they do. You can't use FamilyOne and then switch to FamilyTwo in the same event - they are picked separately. Consider adding 3 or 4 families which cover all the cases you need. Then you can make an event using FamilyThree throughout, for example.

  What if you could set a layout to simply use a copy of another layout's layers? So you only need to modify layers on one layout, and it affects all of them. I think it would be a bit more straightforward than inheritance layers, but would it achieve the same thing?

  Multiple sounds should already be working with the stock PhoneGap, appMobi and CocoonJS exporters. It's only mobile browsers that have trouble playing multiple sounds, and on iOS it should be fixed in iOS 6 coming before the end of the year - they are adding support for the Web Audio API.

  The pattern of using 'start loop' and 'on loop' is extraordinarily inefficient. It is maybe 10 times slower than using a 'repeat N times' or 'for' system condition. This is why the 'start loop'/'on loop' pattern was completely removed in C2 - it's always better to use a looping system condition in a subevent, and it achieves the same thing.

  For now you have to set a variable and create a different object depending on that. If you just want to create a random object, put all the objects in a family and create the family, and a random object belonging to the family will be created.

  The 5mb limit applies only to WebStorage I think, although iOS and some other platforms may prompt if you store "a lot" (25mb+ ish). Usually the user just needs to OK it and it will run.

  IE10 supports the app cache, but IE9 doesn't, which is a bit annoying. It should still load most resources from the normal cache, but it might re-download in future if its cache expires. App cache fixes that and IE10 should work fine.

  I just tried and it works OK in directCanvas with the dev build of r100 I have here. I'm going to close this for now but let me know if you have any more trouble after r100 comes out.

  Setting a global variable already casts the value if necessary - you can set a global number variable to "55" for example, and it will set it to the number 55. I think in this case WebStorage returned an empty string or something which is not a number, and that cannot cast to a number so you get NaN. Seems to be expected behavior... is there anything to fix here?
