  • Salutations everyone!

I look forward to being an active member of this community. I'm fairly new to making games of any kind so I hope to draw upon the knowledge of more experienced programmers. I will be using construct to build a hack and slash side scroller.

  • Hello everyone!

For some reason on the forums a while back my old account wasn't able to post on the forums so I made a new one for the new company a friend and I would like to start, making games from Construct 2. My old account was ZakkiOrichalcum, and now I'm OctaveEight lol :D

  • Hi there. My online name is Wyatt, and I'm a games programming student. For the past eight years I've been using RPG Maker (but other things at Uni) and am proficient in C, C++, PHP, Ruby and HTML/JS.

I'm just getting into Construct really, but liking what I've seen so far.

  • Hi all im solid

I have used construct classic for various fun personal projects.

Now i hope to use construct 2 to redevelop a game i first made using

    game maker.

I love the idea of a browser based version of the game that is called: Need Help With Drugs ? Talk to Frank !

Its a drug dealer action/strategy game with a comedy element

I am finding construct 2 pretty easy to use and have some promising results so far.

Once things are looking a little more game like i will post the progress on here <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hiya folks!

I'm Cliffman and I'm a third year game student currently living in Sweden. I'm pretty new to Construct but am getting started with C2. I've already posted here on the forums a few days back asking for help and was surprised at how many really friendly and helpful forumites we've got here! <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I look forward to seeing more of what's possible to create with C2 and test the boundaries myself. Who knows, maybe something'll end up on the arcade ^^

Anyways, that's all I had to say, I guess. If you've got any questions about me or anything just let me know.

  • Hi all! I'm new (just came in from the HackerNews post about AirScape) and wanted to introduce myself.

I'm an 8-bit (aka chiptune) composer who writes music for the fun of it on an old gameboy and nanoloop cartridge (I get amazing looks on the subway)

All my music is released free under a creative commons license (CC-by-SA) so you're free to use it in your games if you like, providing you link back to my site so others can find my tunes too :)

I'm working on a new album now, so if you have an idea for a track, let me know and I might be able to make one for you!

  • Hi to all.... I have always wanted to try game design (from just an idea) but never wanted to write a game loop. This tools seems to make that about as easy as I can imagine. Not sure how far I will get but from what I have seen here and in the software, I am very impressed.

I have done my share of coding, podcasting, music, and other "creative" endeavors but making a game is about as challenging and creative as anything I can imagine.

I hope both the community and the software continue to grow and I look forward do interacting on the forums etc.

  • Hello,

I'm a musician and composer seeking out to make an interactive comic book. After days of playing around with various methods to make it with flash, I came across this little program. After a few days, I loved it so much I bought a license yesterday. My comic book is going to have a lot of game-type elements such as achievements, music and narrative, a HUD during pause, and multiple paths. It looks like Construct 2 is exactly what I need, especially with HTML5 becoming bigger than flash ever was. I've already done some of the stuff I want to do, about 75% of it. Great program!!

  • I thought i already had post here <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I'm prinsukun [real name Faisal] from Qatar, just an indie game developer, my interest for creating game started from my early childhood and possession with video games.

in past I had created many games with many game creation tools (mostly gamemaker, rpg maker , etc..)

recently i started to get some interest for creating animetion and 3D, but didn't go too far, due to my poor laptop.

other than making games, im also very interested in anime, and other geeky stuff too XD .

if you want see many stuff i had created, just type prinsukun in google <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hello guys,

My name is Stephen, and I'm from the Philippines. I'm just starting to learn the basics of creating and developing my own game(s) using the html5 technology and luckily i found my way here. I hope to learn a lot from you as i move my way up in game development, and i thank Scirra for creating such a wonderful application that can help even the most inexperienced developer out there. I hope someday i could purchase the standard edition to improve my skills, but for the meantime I'll just go ahead and get whatever i could squeezed from the free edition. Thanks and a very construct day to all. <img src="smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
