Although I don't have much experience in programming, for years I've been keeping some ideas that I really dream to turn into real games. After trying hard to find the right engine for me, Construct 2 was on the top of my list for its ease of use, so when I saw it at a discount price on Steam, I finally bough it. I'm still not sure if I can do what I intend, but I sure hope so... and I sure hope this community will be willing to help me! <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I am originally from Hawaii, but now in the scorching Arizona desert <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I must say I was originally looking for a fun way to introduce coding to my son and the things that got me into coding weren't quite grabbing his attention (like Logo, C64, etc.). That is until I came across your amazing Construct2 product! We tried other similar products on the market like Game Maker, Logo3D (wonderful too!), and Platinum Arts Sandbox. Game Maker wasn't quite intuitive, Logo3D was excellent for math, and Sandbox was very simple, but really just a mapmaker though still fun for him. After showing him he could make an angry birds-like game or his current favorite game, Monster Physics using Contruct2 he was sold!

I could see how easy it was for him to grasp the event-based concepts and I started wondering if I could use it too. Due to your site's excellent manual, tutorials, forums, and all important and very kind members I was able to see that Construct2 could also be used for prototyping as well as creating pretty rich non-game apps. I decided to see how quickly I could code a similar app I did many years ago when I was still coding just to see how long it would take and when it took me just 3 days to do something that took me weeks I was sold! I purchased the Personal Edition and I am having a blast getting back into programming again!

We currently use Unity and C#, along with some AGS and Gamemaker to teach programming, as well as 3DSMax and Mudbox to teach 3D modelling.

I�m the co-founder of an online game developer community called GamesVTS situated on the world wide web.

My primary skill is knowledge of indie game design using Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop, Construct 2 and RPG Maker.

I have very good hygiene but don't have any girlfriend xD

I'm still studying at university, but I will be a true Game Designer soon.

That's my childhood dream...

Now I must work hard to realize it in future :)

Hey Guys,

New to the Construct 2 engine. I have been using the "Free" version for about a week now...It is AMAZING!!! So I just purchased the Personal version. Cant wait to start adding more events and layers.

A little about myself. I have been in the United States Marine Corps since 2007, I have my Bachelors of Arts in Video Game Design. I am currently working for a company called Premiseone. I am the special systems tech for their team. I started my own Photography business/design business called smithdesignz.com.

You guys can tune in on our website biglipradio.com every Wednesday around 6pm to watch our live streaming show.

My kids and I also have our own YouTube channel called SlayZombi. We just recently started a series called "Defend this House" Check it out.

I am currently going through CodeAcademy.com in order to broaden my programming languages. I play many of video games but get the most entertainment out of creating them.

I am looking forward to using this engine and have already created a game, I can't wait to use the Personal version to make the game even better. I am also looking forward to working with all of you great people. If your looking for a collab partner, I can do pretty much anything.
