  • Hi!

I'm Pirx. I've just got my C2 license and I'm very excited to make use of it -- I've been testing the engine for a couple of months and it proved very useful. Now, to work!

  • Hello everyone,

I'm a part-writer, part-novice programmer teamed up with an artist and intent on making some of our own games. This seemed like a good place (and tool) for such a quest, so we decided to join the fun and start working on our own mini masterpiece. When we finally patch something up, I'll be sure to share.

    Cheers

  • Hey! I am Ashley, I am a new member to this forums and I have been using Construction 2 for nearly 4 months now. I am a 16 year old college student who has dreams of becoming a professional game designer when I am older. To get to where I want to be in life I am looking at all aspects of games, as well as different types of coding languages, and game engines. Construction 2 is a personal favorite as well as it being the game engine I have used the least. I just hope I can get to where I want to be and with all the experience I am collecting from using various game engines and programs to create games I feel as if I will soon be able to reach my goal.

  • Hi! I'm currently a full time front end web designer who wants to get into the game industry. I would say that I'm a novice artist wanting to do 2D art, whether it's character design, environment design, or misc.

I'm now working with a programmer friend on a game for him and it made me want to create my own as well and was introduced to Construct. Looks really interesting and wanted to be part of Construct community after seeing the introduction video.

  • Hello Im Thama :)

  • Hello

  • Hello everyone ^^ Will soon be getting stuck in with C2 and the community. I'm coming over from the flash sponsorship market where I was quite successful. I have quite a lot of experience with AS3, so I'm hoping that picking up the events in C2 will easy enough.

It looks like the ideal toolset, as I want to move away from coding and focus more on design, narrative and art.

If anyone has any advice to getting started, I would really appreciate it!

  • Hi all! I'm Immanuela and I started making games a couple of months ago.

My main motivation was when I entered a Game store and there was lots of advertising for the new OUYA console. When I read that players could develop their own games for it, I considered the idea of making my own game.

I started on Java and Eclipse and finished my first game. The I hit a wall when I couldn't get it to play outside of Eclipse. I gave up on it until I remembered reading about logic based game makers that didn't require code. I went with Construct 2 because it received the best review and it turned out to be the best decision I made. The game that I got stuck with in Eclipse was quickly recreated in Construct 2 and can now be played!

Nevada City Gold Rush - Play now!

I've recently discovered game making competitions and entered my first Ludum Dare:

Ghost Pirate's Ship of Treasures - Play now!

I like this product so I intend to stick to it as long as it meets my needs.
