  • Hello everyone. My name is Thomas Le. I am a programmer and am looking forward to working with Construct2. I bought it when it was on sale. I have a couple game ideas and look forward to trying to create plugins for it. =)

  • Hi!

I'm guy from Finland who likes to make games. Especially with C2. I have little experience about coding and I'm planning to learn more about JavaScript to make plugins for C2.

  • Hi, I'm PaulW. I create applications for Lean Six Sigma applications including Advanced Planning and Scheduling. It's mostly to help businesses schedule their machines, people, tools and floorspace.

Never wrote a game or utility tool before, but I often wish a had a tool to help me just a certain way, so I'm looking forward to writing some apps for general use by Windows 8 and Window 8 Phone users.

Best of Luck to everyone here!

  • Hello World!

Call me pseudotropheus(I used to keep African cichlids, a type of fish, and pseudotropheus is a genus of rock-dwelling cichlids). I have a B.S. in Biology from The Ohio State University.

I started using Construct 2 to write a 2-player card game. It is a bit like MTG, with inspiration from RTS games and board games like Dominion and Settlers.

  • Hi guys,

Thought I would introduce myself. I'm a 40-ish year old programmer who's been around writing games back since the 80s and 90s (working on mostly titles nobody has heard of but spent some time working on AAA titles and utilities for Activision, Maxis, and EA).

Construct 2 is the cats meow when it comes to creating 2D games and HTML5 is the way to go. I'm loving the tool and loving the community so you'll see posts, tutorials and samples from me shortly.

    Thanks!

  • Howdy All,

I have been a web developer for more than 20 years and until recently I was the lead developer on the official Dungeon's & Dragon's website. I am now a freelance web UI developer. Many years ago I had my own play-by-mail game company and have been a play-tester and developer on many video, board, card, and role-playing games. I am looking forward to seeing what I can create with Construct 2 and contributing to the Construct 2 community.

  • Good timezone-appropriate-greeting all,

Long story short as possible: 31 years old today (Yay Birthday!) and have been trying for the past year+ to really push myself into getting in to a hobby I'd always wanted to pursue since childhood, and here I am. Part of the OneGameAMonth thing going on, and participating this June in Worldwide Game Dev Month.

After dabbling in your GameMakers and Stencyls and RPGMakers and Adventure Game Studios, Construct2 had the advantage of being the most sensible, least rubbish, and the most on-sale-for-$70-a-month-ago of all the others. I've made a few so far, visible from my profile page, a quick side scroller and a galaga-clone.

Looking forward to working for/with/adjacent-to all you charming folks. Tah!

  • Hi everyone,

While I have been into games since I had a ZX Spectrum (made a few really simple games in Basic), I haven't been particularly great at math, but thankfully Construct 2 is turned out to be quite good compared to similar software I tried before. Plus, it's nice to see such a welcoming a helpful community!
