Super Ubie Land *Wii U, PC, Mac* *COMPLETED!*

  • Hopefully we can get some word from Scirra about that. Hell, I'd settle for more information about how Nintendo is going to handle it and keeping it up to standard.

  • When did it change to Super Ubie Land , is UBI's real identity a girl , *SPOILERS*

  • Whiteclaws it was after talks with Nintendo and Ubisoft. They allowed us to keep the "Ubi" portion but add something to it to make it different... so we did.

and lol at the woman identity.

  • Creating some posters for the release of Super Ubie Land.

Still have work to do before completing the game but it's ALMOST complete!

I am trying to transition to fully digital for a little while so I can have a quicker workflow. This illustration is 100 percent digital using Sketchbook Pro.

  • That's really impressive with a digital pad.

  • RandomExile Thank you :) I used a wacom Cintiq

Here's an update to the poster illustration... going to take a quick nap now...

  • Slick.

  • Overall it looks great, I love the look, but I think the animations and handling are quite rigid, it lacks some accelerations and bounciness/dynamism on jumping and landing, something that would give more punch to the moves.

  • Here is the final trailer for Super Ubie Land. This game has been a great learning experience. This is my first "actual" game besides the Up Up Ubi app I released a year ago. Construct 2 has allowed me to take my skills as an artist and turn it into a video game (which has always been a huge hobby of mine). Thanks Ashley and Tom for such a great product and I plan to continue creating with this tool.

Super Ubie Land has landed my indie game dev company (founded in 2012) a spot with Nintendo and I hope it'll take us even further. I know the animations may not be the best but I plan to improve on that on my future projects.

I have minor touch ups and I have to go through bug testing then release the game August 13th. I hope this thread encourages my fellow C2 developers to keep pushing and get a game done!

  • I hate that Nintendo is not able to respond to our requests for export to Wii U
