I play tested this game so much back then it had ceased being fun a long time ago, so i lost heart and motivation to finish it.
I decided at the time to have a break, to regain some perspective and not play or even think about it, so it's been sat on my HD with the rest of my unfinished projects.
Pretty funny looking back at this dev log how the games progressed, v10 https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/159885981/pb10/index.html
I tried the last version again today for the first time in well over a year. I think it's kind of fun now and can definitely appreciate what i was trying to do at the time.
The last version i posted was bug filled, i'd actually done a lot of work on it since then but never got around to posting it here, so i figure i'd update the preview now and ask for all your honest opinions on it. Is it fun, is it worth finishing?
If i recall correctly i fixed a heap of bugs, started work on creating the levels (100 in total), prepared for the artwork to be implemented, and added a sort of help system which appears when a new spell is introduced.
EDIT - Ok so theres still a bug where sometimes the dialogues get stuck, you need to restart the game if that happens If it keeps happening just skip them when they appear.
can you give the sample? Ethan
I want to make game like that BUBBLE SHOOTER but i dont undertand what should i do to make the event sheet.
sorry for my english
I made this with an early version of Construct 2 and when i was still learning which is why its bug filled and difficult to continue with.
Rexrainbow has made an example based on a behaviour so it should be a lot easier, but i haven't tested it myself. https://www.scirra.com/forum/plugin-demo-bubble-shooter_t126618
I had previously visited the thread but the example must have rex plugins on your construct2.
can you teach me to make the game? i want to make game like that for my assignment in my college
Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.
Sorry i don"t have the time.
If you don't want to use plugins then alextro was working on one, he has included the .capx files, though i haven't tried them myself.
