Post screenshots of what you're working on!!

  • Looks great irbis

Thank you Anty!! I am doing my best to make this feel and look as good as my clumsy two hands can make it.

  • My first game!

I started on Dec.26th, and have this as my demo level. Most of the animations are very limited at the moment (walking only has 2 frames).

You can pick up different swords, and use your shield to push back the drones! (still troubleshooting why sometimes they bounce THROUGH you).

  • Took some inspiration from the classic Zelda series for the gliding chicken available in this particular town.

Congrats on starting your first game! It's a great experience that teaches you a lot. You have a good start with your art too. Keep it up!

  • varr that's pretty cool. When the foreground overlaps the player, does the entire foreground fadeout, or just that particular piece?

  • Working on a Mario - type template.

  • I got inspired by INK (on steam) and tried to replicate the level painting mechanic in the game. got it working with tilesets and sprites. the custom particles get destroyed on collision

    - Started as this at first

    - End result - added some dot dithering

    - Zooming in and Out

Thanks! Currently it's only whatever sprite in the foreground that you're overlapping. I can see that being frustrating depending on the area layouts when engaging with enemies so I may change it to make all objects in the foreground transparent when you overlap any.

Cool work on the Mario inspired enemy interaction and block breaking!

  • varr - ah thanks man. your project is looking really good. there's definitely more than a few ways to do that.

  • "succubus" personal project I'm tinkering with.

  • A screen from one of the boss battles in Grave Prosperity: Redux

  • New Tactic game
