  • Been working on a first person dungeon crawler for the last few weeks, after having a break from construct 2, I thought I would push my limits...

next to add inventory, items and monsters...

  • Random fellow, sgt conti: thanks again! yet somehow you did find the problem here, these ARE paintings and not screenshots yet, I still have to slice everything in layers to implement and (eventually) animate.

Cappdog It will go through, it will just take a long time wandering in the "How do I" section ^^

Rasterized art styles are surprisingly easy to animate through programming actually, and I think this'll go faster than you think. Programming just takes a lil' creative thinking to work around the problems and from your are, you can tell you've got the creativity down.

  • Thanks, I'm not sure if what you see as easy is something that I would be able to grasp, but you are definitely giving me lots of hope in the project ^^

edit: Actually enough for me to write a devlog for this!

    its time consuming.

anyways the above images does not represent the final game look they are just mockups for ideas and theme

  • As my bf is a descendant of the Grimm family - time to time i'm working on a dark themed red ridinghood platformer in style of limbo. I want to try get a few voice overs into the game, depending on how many soundfiles a browser can handle.
