  • Oh man, that looks fantastic!

Do you have a devlog set up anywhere where I can follow this game?

  • Why does everything you make have to look so purdy? WWWWWWWWWWWWHY?!

  • Your pixel art is perfect!

  • , what a great concept. I love the idea of tying in a seemingly simple pastime with an exploration-based platformer. I can imagine it being a very relaxing gameplay experience.

Awesome pixel art, too! Definitely keep that blog updated :)

That's one beautiful piece of moving machinery you have there. I'm digging the movement and ground effects of your game. Keep us posted on your progress. I tried making a mech game but realized I didn't have the artistic talent so I eventually gave up on it. lol

Maybe in the future I'll get an artist.

Your artwork leaves me speechless, that's all I have to say.

I remember you posting information about this project before, it seems like your project is going well. I'm really digging the scan effect, are you using webgl effects to simulate it?

If your avatar is any indication, I think I'd be pretty damn impressed with what you had before you quite and tell you not to give up so easily! I kinda did the same thing with this last year. I'm actually curious to see what you had!

    sved

You keep posting pieces like that and I don't care how long it takes! Your screens are more like paintings than screenshots.

  • sved that is a really interesting screenshot there ;)

Now my contribution to this thread:

  • sved we're on the same ship, learning as we go. Hope we get to finish our respective projects, and if we share some experiences on the way, better still.

New screens of my platformer Little Green Soldier, seeing as my thread has been...ah...flooded out of sight.

It's the village area where you rest in between each level. Lots of graphics aren't done yet, but I just couldn't resist posting a WIP.

(I have no idea why the falling snow is square-shaped; it turns out normally in fullscreen mode.)
