I remember reading somewhere where Tom had said they plan on selling c2 licenses indefinitely.

Let's just try to keep on topic please. I see quite a few good ideas here and the developers are going to listen and make some good changes. Let's not get the thread locked by going off topic etc.

My first impression is that this is actually an alpha build and not ready for public beta testing yet. I'll probably be checking back in a few weeks to see where the development is at by then.

Apparently there aren't enough conversions from the free version of c2 to the paid version, so for c3 the event limit was cut in half.

Just that at this point it really feels more like an alpha build then a beta ready for public testing. There's not much that can be done properly with it at this point. I'll give it another look once it's more properly developed.

C3 has so much potential but I've lost interest for now. Maybe I'll try again after the Alpha testing phase is over.

No, they are not missing. I can open the panes, I just can't add anything to them or view anything in the panes.

I updated to the latest version of chrome but I still can't make anything in c3 work properly. I can add a sprite to the layout but I can't do anything with it other then resize/recolor/rename it. I can't add instance variables, behaviors, effects or anything else. What am I missing here?
