    Is it really important to activate the "preload sounds" option in the "startup" section?

    I'm developing a mobile game with a lot of sounds, most of them short, and I've noticed that the loading time has increased significantly.

    I've found that if I disable the sound preloading option in the Startup section, the loading time improves significantly, but I don't know if this could affect gameplay performance.

    Can anyone give me some advice?

    I was going crazy not understanding why all my audio instructions by name using "choose" don't work.

    I finally just verified that this is due to my last update of construct, in which it advised me to change the "Export file structure" to "folders" instead of "flat". Once this is done, all my audios with choose do not play.

    Does anyone have a solution?

    I wouldn't want to have to re-enable Flat Export if it is deprecated.
