  • Ainol Aurora II 7' - Android 4.0.3 - Default browser

    First project, unmodified

    Portrait:

    Width: 600

    Height: 872

    ~19 FPS - 1 sprite; upper: 1; lower: 1

    Landscape:

    Widht: 1024

    Height: 448

~ 25 fps; 1 sprites; upper:1; lower: 1 (some burst from time to time seem to display more sprites

    Project fixed:

    Portrait:

    Width: 599

    Height: 872

    ~25 fps, 1 sprite, upper:1; lower: 1

    Landscape:

    Width:1023

    Height: 448

~ 30 FPS, 1 sprite, upper:1, lower:1 (with the same burst as above, I've caught the upper go up to 20 for 16 FPS)

I'm not sure if this is of any meaning though since it's not on iOS gear/iOS retina.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Unless I am putting foot in mouth There doesnt seem to be an easier way to make objects in the layout view transparent without of course changing the Opacity to 0

In the layers bar, unchecking the checkbox on left of a layer name hides totally the layer in the editor. So it does hide the objects and make them impossible to be clicked.

In addition with the layer lock, it pretty much does the job, doesn't it ?

  • Manual entry about the preferences dialog

    Uncheck the autobackup check box.

Be sure also to check tutorial about using backup options.

Are you sure you want to disable autosave ? It can save your datas/current projects.

  • It's about the same as the

Diablo-like movement (mouse+animations) - LINKfrom the how do I FAQ.

  • Post a capx of what you implemented so far, your description is too vague/opened to too many implementations to be answered as it is right now.

  • In the "Sidescroller/Platformer genre" section of the how do I FAQ you can find examples of infinite scrollings in different ways.

Pick the one that is the closest to the way you implemented your game so far.

Consider also posting a capx as it is impossible to know how you set things and so give a precise answer from a still screenshot of your game in preview.

  • Congratulations you won our RT competition! Please DM us your email address so we can arrange your prizes :)

    Congrats.

  • You forgot to put a link to your example it seems, or did you send it by email ?

Also as far as I'm concerned, Touch has always been working in win 7 and even back in firefox 13 (current version 16.0.1).

Be sure to set the "Use mouse input" to yes in your project.

And be sure to set it again even if it is already.

  • Construct 2 does not export to xbox.

Otherwise, any 2D game can be made.

  • "Worlds" are datas.

Depending on the game you are making, you might be storing those datas on server or on the player's computer.

It greatly depends on your game and how you made it as well as where those datas are stored.

On your own server with some server-side script, you can return the datas representing some world of your users.

I don't know about facebook hosting those datas, I don't think it's really related, I guess those datas you have to store by yourself out of FB.

Check the manual about the AJAX object and check the how do I FAQ (link in my signature), there are some implementations of PHP reacting to AJAX calls from inside a C2 game.
