"C3 is not going to allow non coders to "make plugins".. that's the whole point of a plugin is to connect C2 (non coding) users to bodies of javascript that call on larger solutions like revenue generation that don't care if you're using C2 or Unity or Unreal.. they are just a service."

There's no reason for them not to make it so the users can create their own plugs using the sdk via eventing, other than the extra work involved.

It would be a huge selling point.

But the catch with plugs is you can't demo them in the editor.

Then speaking of editors, no one's going to want to develop for C2 when C3's in dev.

And we have no idea what C3 will bring, or change.

If C3 adds the ability to make your own plugs somehow, then the whole concept of a plugin market will change.

To sell on the store as a template for a few mechanics, and I guess for that purpose it's fine, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for something I might add.

Some gameplay they have difficulty with that might work with it.

Tiles, and tiled bg for the bulk of it, backgrounds, large inanimate things like walls, etc.

Sprites for moving, and or animated objects.

Containers don't play well with families.

I would suggest placing the enemies into a single object and using multiple instances/ frames.

Containers are great for that. I just have the indicator set position to the object when it is on screen.

As a post process, yeah it would be useful, especially for someone who doesn't know how to create their own.

Otherwise you can do it in Ps, and Gimp, where the images might be made to begin with.

You might yell at Ashley to try to get a way to integrate something like that into C3.

I see, they put it with the pann template.

What you want is something made for much larger layouts.
