  • Can't reproduce, looks fine here. This does look like the kind of glitch caused by graphics driver bugs, and it's entirely possible the latest drivers are still buggy, or that since you are using a beta driver, there is a bug in that version of the driver. Have you tried checking for newer drivers directly from AMD? If so perhaps you should report the issue to them. Either way not much we can do about this, so closing.

  • Well, the first mistake is that SaveState is a number, so you can't store JSON strings in it

After fixing that I did notice that it always reverts the blend mode to normal (a slightly different issue to what you describe). I've fixed this for the next beta.

  • Please do not post more than one issue per bug report thread. I am not sure if you want me to investigate the image loading issue or the memory issue. If your sole cause for concern with memory is what Task Manager says, that is a very complicated number: there are many layers of caching and duplication going on, so it basically can't be trusted. I believe C2's ImageMemoryUsage count is accurate, and looking at your screenshots it appears to end up at the correct low amount (3.17).

The original report still has a few issues:

    • you are not sharing the images you are testing with (i.e. the Test.jpg file). You need to share everything your bug report uses to ensure I can reproduce exactly what you are doing.
    • you are still submitting reports based on accessing files in C:\, which is normally an admin-restricted folder. To rule out admin permissions as the cause of any problem, only access files in the application folder or user folder. (A global variable with the root path would be a good idea, so it can easily be changed if need be.)

I'm going to close this report again, please file new issues (one issue per thread) respecting the above if you want this investigated further.

  • Closing, it's just your events are wrong. Either use event 4, or event 2 with 'For each family2' instead of family1.

  • Closing, it's too late, the file is already corrupt. You should keep backups or report a bug that includes the steps to cause this issue in the first place.

  • Closing, please attach a .capx to bug reports as per the guidelines. If the anti-spam filter removes your link, remove the http and www parts of the URL.

  • Thanks for the heads up, looks like the spec changed and we needed to tweak it for Firefox support. Should be fixed in the next beta.

  • Closing, .capx is mandatory, please follow the bug report guidelines.

  • Closing, please always attach a .capx to every report, it is mandatory. I tried a quick test using the Browser object's 'Open URL in new window' and it worked in both Chrome and NW.js without any error appearing. I am guessing you did something different to me, which is why we always need your .capx.

  • This is by design. To save memory, all Sprites share the same textures for their animations. If you load an image in to frame 0 of the animation, all instances showing that frame will be affected. The method of switching animation frame then loading an image is the recommended workaround.
