The share is handled by the browser/OS, so I don't think it has anything to do with Construct. Maybe if you share a really large file it has to copy it to a temporary file first, which could delay it. Or if you have a large number of apps that can share, it could take a while to load them in to the list.

Effects have nothing to do with render cells. Render cells decide whether to draw an object. Effects are used when drawing an object.

This also happens if it can't find the file. Perhaps you forgot to add it to the file list, or it's in the wrong location, etc. You can also backtrack using a working template and slowly modify it bit by bit until you find out which step is not working.

I forgot there was even still any documentation up on scirra.com. It's probably years out of date. The up-to-date SDK documentation is here.

This was specifically addressed in the blog post announcement:

We are well aware that not programming has been central to the design of Construct since Construct 2... We're still committed to this approach and also fully intend to keep developing features for events.

It's essential to have regular backups for all digital work.

You can send the project to ashleybhy@scirra.com and I'll see if it can be recovered, but I cannot guarantee anything. Most cloud save providers give you a file history, and Construct also has built-in backup features - you should use them.

Construct does not run any events in parallel. All events, conditions and actions run sequentially in top-to-bottom order.
