I don't think you can use Google Web Fonts with Construct 2 yet. It's on our todo list. You'll have to make do with sprites, but I would recommend just picking a more ordinary font for the time being :-\ it's much simpler that way though.

'Set scale' for a layer should work OK. Don't forget to center the view on something.

Note browsers decide for themselves whether they use linear (blurry) scaling or point (pixellated) scaling. You might have to just draw the graphics bigger I'm afraid... Firefox and IE seem to use linear scaling.

WebGL means 3D graphics in the browser! It can do shaders, effects, everything like that. Construct 2 will stay 2D but can take advantage of those things.

There haven't been many significant changes to the editor since physics. So I'm not sure what this could be - if other people report the same issue I'll be worried, but it might be a problem with your computer. Does it do it with all projects, even new blank ones? Can you reproduce a series of steps to get it to crash in the same place every time? Have you tried reinstalling C2?

Usually software like Construct 2 can't cause a blue screen of death - it usually means something system-level like drivers have failed. So I'm afraid it sounds like a problem with your laptop :(

I was going to suggest updating your drivers - but maybe you got the wrong one? That could cause more issues.
