Are you using the Additive effect on those neon bricks? It looks nice but I think Opera isn't very good with effects, so tends to slow down.

I think Opera just needs to be faster. As you say, other browsers are fine. If you can make the same thing in both GM HTML5 and C2, and C2 is noticably slower, I'd be more worried... but as it is it just looks like Opera being slow with effects.

I am not sure if the previous post means a upcoming build but i did some testing with R61 and it no longer happens for Sprite, however crashes happen for basically all other objects.

I noticed this shortly after release and issued a fix - see my comment on the r61 download. Try re-downloading and reinstalling and it should work OK.

Why do you have "For each SoundLauncher: play FootmanDeath"? If you have 10 of this object, the browser will try to play 10 sounds at the same time. That's going to sound nasty and as I said before, is unnecessarily pushing the browser's audio playback. If you play a reasonable number of sounds the browser should cope just fine. As it is, it looks like the problem is in the events you are using.

I tried running the Space Blaster demo in Opera 11.51 on Windows 7 and it runs OK. It's a little choppy in places, but perfectly playable.

Perhaps you could upload some demos side-by-side for us to try ourselves?

A fair bit of performance work has been done on the games, so they should not be unnecessarily slow. I'm tempted to say Opera just need to make their browser faster, but if you say other HTML5 games run just fine then I'm curious to see them running side by side for myself.

We're designing Construct 2 as a 2D game development tool. While some 3D features are possible, we're not aiming to add any 3D features to Construct 2.

I had to do a last-minute fix to r61. Along with the update I included this fix, so if you re-download r61 it should be working now!

Double click the object to open it in the image editor. Crop it so it doesn't use any more space than it has to. Then, click the collision mask button on the left. That's the collision shape for the object - make sure it roughly matches the object.

This is an extra check I added to try and catch out a weird bug. It's seems to have affected your project. Did it have a check failure when running the project in r60? Send me your project and I'll fix it for you.

OK, this is fixed in the next build. You can use precision up to the floating point precision (10-14 digits).
