A better solution would be a plugin that can load that image directly, which does not require using base64 at all and is probably the same amount of work!

Please see how to report bugs. We generally cannot do anything to resolve the issue with an error message alone. We need to know the reproduction steps (what you were doing to cause the bug), etc.

I'm not sure I understand why that's useful - when do you need to use a Base64 string instead of, say, the URL of an image?

It's not actually script, it's not a programming language like C or Python. It's just a simple way of typing in mathematical expressions. The link Kyatric posted covers the syntax completely, and the rest of it is just different objects' expressions, which are all individually described in the floating object expressions panel.

It doesn't really make sense to invert an 'on collision' event. What does 'On not collided' mean?

You might want to try inverting 'is overlapping' and adding a 'trigger once' beneath that, though. It will fire once every time the sprite goes from overlapping to not overlapping.

'On touch end' should be working correctly though, the next best thing is to reproduce the problem in a new empty project and share that. If you can't, then it suggests it's a problem in your events, not in Construct 2.

Intel graphics chips are incredibly crap. Never buy them. Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers to the very latest version? That's usually the problem.
