It only changes the opacity - it's not possible to make an object appear part-way visible using 'set visible' or 'set invisible'. What strange effects did you get?

Double-quotes start and end strings in Construct 2 expressions, so you can't paste it in like that. You need to use this:

"{""c2dictionary"":true,""data"":{""5"":1}}"

because "" turns in to a single " inside a string. It might be easier to save it to a text file, import the text file to the project, and AJAX request it. See using project files.

I don't think it's real liquid physics, because it never settles flat. It's most likely lots of small round physics objects with an effect applied to make it visually look liquid-like. You can probably do the same in C2.

What's so bad about updating every tick? It will use a negligable amount of CPU, and Construct 2's engine does not redraw the screen if nothing has changed (e.g. if you 'set text' and set the same text it already has). It certainly won't kill the performance.

You should still be able to address individual instances when using 9 instances (copy+paste or ctrl+drag instead of clone). What did you try? There's probably a way to fix it.

This is by design. It allows you to drag and drop 10 animation frames in and make an animated sprite out of those frames. If you want each image to be a separate object, you have to drag them in one at a time. I'll update the tutorial to make this clearer.

Yes, as the preferences dialog says the translations system is for testing purposes only. It is not finished and will not work properly. I advise you switch back to English, we will not be fixing bugs like this until the translations system is completed.

This has already been reported a few times, and is fixed in r100. Workaround: double-click the sprite instead.

Try saving JSON out the Dictionary object and inspecting the result. It uses its own slightly different format. Make your JSON in the same format and it should load just fine.
