This is a single chapter from the Construct Starter Kit Collection and the Student Workbook from the Workshop.
188 pages for both Construct2 and Construct3 game development; also available from Amazon or the author's publication site. This is the "Student's Workbook" edition from the Workshop Instruction's package. ISBN: 9798363832925 (Hardback)
I would like to guide you in creating several styles of Collapsing Block and "flood-fill" game mechanics. We will use these game mechanics, display mechanisms, and its development methods to "construct" an integrated game prototype. By the end of this student workbook, you should have a fully functional "Collapsing Block" game (with "flood-fill") - not just a copy of my game, but your very own product using your own gaming assets. There is a supporting website, found inside this workbook, from where you can download all the bonus content included with your workbook's purchase.
Also in the Instructor Workshop edition - sold separately - is lecture presentation materials, and an Instructor's Guide. Instructors earn commissions per student book and online course access in their workshops. The online course has dynamically graded quizzes, examinations, and certification for student attendees. This is perfect package for after school computer club projects!
You'll also get bonus content, downloads, examples, and event sheet references on how to do every single thing in this workbook. So you can merely "copy and paste" any examples into your own game productions and then modify those resources for your own purpose. A General Game Licenses are included in this book if you wish to deploy my demonstration game as a C2 or C3 version.
This extraordinarily comprehensive guide will teach you how to:

There was a game genre review and overall settings for this game genre. Then a unique chapter on game and project design. It was so flexible that I've decided to 're-evaluate how I develop games. Then the book - 190 some odd pages!! - had a dedicated section just for Construct2 and another dedicated to Construct 3! I liked this because I can`t afford an annual SUBSCRIPTION(!) since I'm struggling to show a profit. Then the book concludes with a positive note to remain with Construct. There are a series of additional appendices on a variety of topics. The one I liked most was the OLOO. I learned more about Javascript than anything I've ever read. You should consider buying this while on this reduced price.
