  Keep in mind its a loop, and will eat up cpu.

  Every tick, even for a short period may be a bit much.

  For a single object of instances you can check each using a loop, and comparing its y to the loopindex.

  If they meet the criteria, send that one to the front.

  Or you can just do a "for each object" (ordered) by y ascending, send to front.

  As is, dlc isn't that feasible as we have no way to introduce new objects into a game.

  All you can do is rearrange things, and thats handled well by json.

  Think less dlc, more update, in a separate game, and that is somewhat close to what you are asking for.

  1000x1000 should be doable since its just one instance.

  Then again you do have to take the time needed to generate everything into account.

  Dunno, aim for half that maybe.

  Yeah, way too much to do in tilemap, but you could do huge cities... in theory.

  Still nice job on the gen, lots of variation there.
